Handcrafted in Bali

Each pair is fully handmade on the island without outsourcing. The process includes careful cleaning, shredding, melting, and molding, followed by assembly and quality checks. Every swirl pattern in the plastic is naturally formed, making each frame truly unique.

Every Bumbershootz frame is handcrafted from 100% recycled Polypropylene (PP #5) sourced from schools, local communities, waste banks, and collectors across Bali. By turning discarded plastic into sunglasses, we reduce waste, support a circular economy, and help protect the environment, all while creating sunglasses you’ll actually want to wear.
