Yes, Bumbershootz sunglasses are environmentally friendly as we use recycled plastic material, contributing to sustainability by reducing plastic waste.
Bumbershootz currently offers three frame styles, each available in a range of unique color blends and lens options. Because we use recycled plastic, every pair has its own unique pattern, with no two exactly alike.
We’re also exploring new designs and color combinations for future collections.
No, the color patterns are unique for each pair of sunglasses as it can’t be controlled.
Yes. Bumbershootz sunglasses are designed for everyday outdoor activities — whether you’re hiking, fishing, travelling, or spending the day at the beach. Our polarized lenses help reduce glare and provide UV400 protection for comfortable wear in bright conditions.
As with all eyewear, performance and longevity depend on how the sunglasses are used and cared for. Our non-mirrored lenses are generally a more practical choice for active or seaside use, while mirrored lenses may require extra care to avoid scratches or coating wear.
Our sunglasses are not designed for prescription lenses. The frames are made from recycled polypropylene (PP), a lightweight and durable material with its own natural characteristics. Unlike materials commonly used for prescription eyewear, PP behaves differently and is not intended for heat adjustment or reshaping.
For this reason, we do not recommend replacing the original lenses with prescription lenses or modifying the frame. Any modification, including lens replacement or reshaping, will void the product warranty.
Yes. Mirrored lenses have a reflective coating that gives them their distinctive look, but the coating can be more sensitive to scratches and wear than non-mirrored lenses.
Exposure to salt air, fine sand, chlorine, and high heat can gradually affect the coating, even when you’re simply spending time at the beach or by the pool.
To help your lenses last longer, rinse off saltwater, chlorine, or dust before wiping them. Avoid contact with rough surfaces and store your sunglasses in a cool, dry place when not in use.
If you spend a lot of time at the beach or doing outdoor activities, our non-mirrored lenses are a more practical choice. They still provide UV400 protection and clear vision, with less concern about coating wear.
Whichever lens you choose, proper care will help keep your sunglasses looking and performing their best.
We implement strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process, from sorting to final finishing, to ensure that every pair meets high-quality standards.
Bumbershootz actively supports various environmental initiatives, purchasing plastic waste from waste banks, schools, supporting circular economy, and raising awareness about plastic waste issues in communities.
Bumbershootz partners with waste banks, local communities, schools, waste collectors, and waste management companies in Bali to collect plastic waste for production.
We collect PP (Polypropylene) plastic material, usually found in symbol number 5, from various sources for our sunglasses production.
To ensure the longevity of your sunglasses, we recommend cleaning them with a mild soap and water solution. Store them in a protective case when not in use.

Yes. Bumbershootz sunglasses come with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering confirmed defects in materials or manufacturing. A receipt or other valid proof of purchase is required for warranty claims.
If a frame or lens is damaged within the warranty period, we will assess the product to determine whether the damage is related to a manufacturing or material defect.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including scratches, lens or mirror coating wear, colour fading, or damage caused by accidents, impact, excessive bending, improper use, or exposure to conditions such as excessive heat, humidity, salt air, or chlorine.
The warranty also does not cover modifications to the product, including lens replacement, fitting prescription lenses, or reshaping the frame. Any alteration to the frame or lenses will void the warranty.
As with all eyewear, proper care and handling will help maintain the condition and longevity of your sunglasses.
