Yes, Bumbershootz sunglasses are environmentally friendly as we use recycled plastic material, contributing to sustainability by reducing plastic waste.
Yes. Bumbershootz currently offers two frame styles, each available in a range of unique color blends and lens options. Every pair is one-of-a-kind, with no two patterns exactly alike. We’re also exploring new designs and colors — so stay tuned for future collections.
No, the color patterns are unique for each pair of sunglasses as it can’t be controlled.
Yes. Bumbershootz sunglasses are great for outdoor adventures — whether you’re hiking, fishing, or spending the day at the beach. Our polarized lenses reduce glare and offer full UV protection, keeping your eyes comfortable under the sun.
Please note: as with all eyewear, performance and longevity depend on how they’re used and cared for. Our non-mirrored lenses are generally more durable for active or seaside use, while mirrored lenses may need extra care to avoid scratches or coating wear.
Our sunglasses are not designed for prescription lenses. The frames are made from recycled plastic polypropylene (PP) – a lightweight, durable material that behaves differently from traditional eyewear materials like acetate or virgin plastic.
Unlike acetate or TR90, which can be adjusted using heat or cold, polypropylene has natural flexibility and shape memory. It bends slightly but always returns to its original molded form, making it comfortable to wear but unsuitable for heat manipulation or prescription lens replacement.
For this reason, we don’t recommend fitting prescription lenses or reshaping the frame.
Any modification, including lens replacement, will void the product warranty.
Yes. Mirrored lenses have a special reflective coating that gives them their unique look but also makes them more sensitive than regular lenses. This is true for all mirrored eyewear, even from well-known international brands.
Even if you’re just relaxing at the beach or by the pool (not swimming), exposure to salt air, fine sand, chlorine, or high heat can gradually affect the coating. To help your lenses last longer, we recommend rinsing off saltwater, chlorine, or dust before wiping, avoiding contact with rough surfaces, and storing them in a cool, dry place after use.
For those who spend a lot of time at the beach or in outdoor sports, our non-mirrored lenses are a more durable choice while still offering full UV protection and clear vision. Whichever lens you choose, proper care will always make the biggest difference.
We implement strict quality control throughout the manufacturing process, from sorting to final finishing, to ensure that every pair meets high-quality standards.
Bumbershootz actively supports various environmental initiatives, purchasing plastic waste from waste banks, schools, supporting circular economy, and raising awareness about plastic waste issues in communities.
Bumbershootz partners with waste banks, local communities, schools, waste collectors, and waste management companies in Bali to collect plastic waste for production.
We collect PP (Polypropylene) plastic material, usually found in symbol number 5, from various sources for our sunglasses production.
To ensure the longevity of your sunglasses, we recommend cleaning them with a mild soap and water solution. Store them in a protective case when not in use.
At Bumbershootz, we strive to provide the best experience for our customers, and we understand that returns and exchanges are important considerations. Yes. The warranty covers defects caused by material or manufacturing errors for 1 year from the date of purchase (please provide a receipt or proof of purchase as evidence).
Please note that normal wear and tear — including minor scratches, lens coating wear, or color fading from use, heat, humidity, salt air, or chlorine exposure — is not covered. These factors can sometimes affect mirrored coatings even if the sunglasses are kept in their case or near the beach or pool area.
Damage caused by accidents or alterations to the product, such as installing prescription lenses, will void the warranty. As with all eyewear, performance and longevity depend on proper care and handling.
